A well-defined fee structure is maintained by Aligarh College for Women (ACW), Lahore for its intermediate programs. It will be seen that the fee structure is composed of several obligations, including tuition fees, admission fees, medical fees, magazine fees and examination fees. There are two major types of programs, i.e., regular programs and self-supporting programs. The regular programs have a reasonable fee design to accommodate students from different financial backgrounds, while self-supporting programs have strategically charged a higher fee to cover the additional obligations. The fee structure of ACW expressed the balance of fee charges to allow for quality education while keeping in mind of affordability, enabling students to meet and get all the academic support they need without incurring excessive debt.
Programs Fee Structure
ACW accepts a variety of intermediate programs, and each program has its own fee structure. The regular programs comprise of common streams such as Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, General Science, Computer Science, Commerce, and Arts. Regular programs are regularly charged an affordable fee structure and encompasses the relevant academic and administrative charges. Self-supporting programs have similar streams and require a higher fee structure which attempt to recover the additional obligations and expenses for the students. Having two streams or fee structures has allowed Aligarh College for Women (ACW), Lahore to provide access to students from different income groups and afford excellent facilities in each discipline.
Scholarship & Financial Assistance
The college offers many ways to support gifted and deserving students with financial support. Merit scholarships are awarded to students excelling on course assessments and cover tuition costs and related fees in total. We want to reward and maintain motivated effort to ensure academic excellence! There are monthly scholarships and fee concessions for students achieving a certain academic standard but not qualifying for a full scholarship. These financial aid support initiatives seek to maintain the accessibility of education by students from varying social economic backgrounds, and demonstrate ACW's continued support of equity, inclusivity, and women's education.
