BS MARINE SCIENCE
The undergraduate degree in Marine Science is designed to acquire the knowledge of biological, physical, geological, and chemical phenomena of the ocean and marine life. The ocean is an essential component having a variety of resources for human life. To preserve the ocean and its resources for our generations, highly skilled and educated individuals are required in the field. With a wide variety of courses, this degree will grant vast knowledge regarding ocean life to students. Students will be able to conduct various research work in marine sciences. They develop a better understanding of marine life, natural phenomena, and diverse global weather patterns. The degree of Marine Science is still in the awareness process due to which there are not many universities in Pakistan offering it for now. But, with the span of time, its awareness will tell how important it is to take care of the ocean for potential food sources, new energy, and replace depleting resources. Due to the increased concerns regarding the protection of natural resources, there is an increased need for skilled professionals who can analyze, organize, and advise on marine sciences.
