The bachelor’s admission occurs right after the intermediate results are declared. The admission process begins with the admission forms and fee. The students have to fulfill the required information at the application forms. This information includes some personal and some educational background. The admission process continues for a month or more. The students who fulfill their application forms are then required to submit with the fee. The universities then announce several dates for its entry test to proceed the admission process.
The eligibility criteria for a BS Agriculture include an intermediate or equivalent with a minimum of 50% to 60% marks.
The two types of admission intakes are yearly based or twice a year. The admission that happens twice a year usually occurs in the months of September and April. The admission in September is considered the Fall session and the admissions in April are considered the Spring session.

For an admission of BS in Agriculture NTS and university tests are considered. Although, the students who have cleared MCAT can apply as well. The candidates who have appeared in the NTS test may not appear for the university test of the NTS linked universities.
The test consists of various sections to check the capability of the candidate. The various portions include general knowledge, english vocabulary questions, math portion with logical and analytical questions, and some more.
Some of the HEC recognized universities offering BS in Agriculture are:
Intermediate Science (Pre-Medical/Pre-Engineering) / Three years Diploma of Agricultural Sciences (DAS) securing 45% marks i.e. 495/1100 or Intermediate (Pre-Agriculture) with CGPA 2.20.
A candidate seeking admission in B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture must have passed the Intermediate Science (Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering) 50% marks i.e. 550/1100, Intermediate (Pre-Agriculture) CGPA 2.50/4.00 from a recognized Institution of Punjab securing the 50% marks excluding 20 marks of Hafiz-e-Quran. Twenty Marks are added to the Academic marks in the H.S.S.C or equivalent Examination of the applicant who is Hafiz-e-Quran.The Candidates gets the benefit only if He/she has:
F.Sc (Pre-Medical / Pre-Engineering) at least 2nd Division.
