Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway M-9 Construction!! Boosted Twin Cities Economy!!

In Pakistan there are 10 Motorway Projects that are ranging between M-1 to M-10. Various projects have been functional and some required up gradation. Such as Super Highway is going to upgrade from 4 lines to 6 lines and called it now as M-9 project.

Construction:

The Malaysian company has taken the responsibility to upgrade Super Highway. To accomplish this task they have sent a delegation to meet the President of Pakistan on last Friday. The ministers of Sindh and other official parties also have participated to get the briefing about M9 Project.

Agreement and Financial Close:

The Malaysian company has made an agreement worth Rs. 24.93 billion on January 16th of this year according to that the company has only given 6 months to complete the financial close. Now the time is up and they are initiating their project after the financial close the company has given the time to accomplish their task to build 136 km Motorway just in 30 months.

Financial Close Participant Bodies:

During the Project briefing it is revealed that the Company has approached various financial institutions as well as the Banks for achievement of financial close such as Asian Development Bank, MCB and Askari Bank. The company also has submitted the proposal design and assured that the construction will be started soon.

M-9 Connections & Links:

According to submitted proposal M-9 will have 7 interchanges, 2 service areas at the midway points and 16 toll plazas on entry and exit points over the 136 km, 6 lanes road.

Business Impact and Opportunities:

Once this project will completed then the foreign investors will get the attraction about investment opportunities as well as the potential in construction. The official bodies also showed the positive interest to invite the foreign companies in Pakistan to make such projects as well.

M-9 Impact on Economy:

The M-9 will create a great impact on the economy of Twin cities Karachi & Hyderabad which are among the largest populated cities in Pakistan. Once the project is completed the distance time frame between these two cities decreased and community of both cities will get comfort reach their corresponding destinations. The high speed travelling and transfer of goods from each city to their desired destination become more calm and acceptable. This fast and swift transportation system will increase the economy of both cities.
