Today, it is very important topic that how to represent your paper. Style of attempting and representing paper plays important role in obtaining marks in exams. Representation also hides your minor mistakes in exams. Here we have few tips and points:

HAND WRITING OF STUDENT:

Hand writing plays important role in writing your exam. If you have best hand writing then your paper will be the best paper. If your hand writing is not good then this will gives bad impression to examiner. For example, if your hand writing is not good in the paper of Urdu then examiner will cut marks. This falls the percentage of your obtaining marks. If your hand writing is good in paper of Urdu then you will get maximum marks. So good hand writing plays important role in obtaining maximum marks.

REPRESENTATION OF STUDENT:

Representation also plays very important role in obtaining marks and attempting paper. By representation, exam paper looks charming and beautiful. There are some important tips and points for representing.

  1. Make headings of question
  2. Underline each heading
  3. Highlight important words by marker

For example: Quantities which can be measured as well as observed are known as physical quantities.

STUDENT HAS TO TAKE WRIST WATCH WITH HIM / HER:

Student has to take wrist watch in examination with him / her. Student has to attempt paper according to time. Distribute time into intervals to attempt paper For example : In paper of English, time distribution like

  • Translation ~ 10 minutes
  • Question/ Answers ~ 20 minutes
  • Story ~ 15 minutes

Set a time schedule for your exam, so that this may Ease for you in your exam.

PARACTICE OF YOUR ROLL NUMBER MANY TIMES ACCORDING TO PAPER PATTERN:

Practice your roll number many times at bubble paper.

Download bubble paper and write supposed roll number and paper code in it. If you write wrong paper code in your paper. This will harms you in obtaining maximum marks.

READ ALL QUESTIONS CAREFULLY:

The stress of the situation can cause you to misread a question, plan your answer out, start writing your response and then realize you made a mistake and wasted vital time. Even though you generally won’t be writing answers to every question on the paper, reading all questions thoroughly will ensure you make the right choices and can highlight how much you know about the topic.

Don’t forget to attempt all questions that you have selected. However, be careful of MCQ questions with negative marking. If you’re not sure of the answer you could cost yourself some valuable marks.

STRUCTURE YOUR QUESTION:

Don’t just jump into writing your answer. Take the first few minutes to plan the structure of your essay which will save you time when you are delving into meaty parts. Always stay on topic; if you’re discussing the role of women in society as portrayed by the author in Of Mice and Men, don’t digress and start outlining other themes in the book for example.

Most essays should have an introduction, three main points and a conclusion. A lot of students see a conclusion as a final sentence to finish the piece off. A strong conclusion give an A grade student the chance to shine by bringing everything together and fortifying their opinion.

DO THE EASIEST QUESTION FIRST:

There is absolutely no reason to do the questions in the order they are printed in the exam. I would recommend doing the easiest.

There are two reasons for this. Firstly, getting one question safely under your belt at the start of an exam is a wonderful boost to confidence, and can help reduce any feelings of panic that might arise when looking at the harder questions.

The second reason is that the easiest question is likely to take less time than the average. That means you’ll be ahead of schedule from the start – another good confidence boost. It also means that when you get round to the most difficult question, you are free to spend all the time you have left on it, without having to drop it half-way through and come back to it later, if time permits – not a good idea if it can be avoided.

ALWAYS EXPLAIN WHAT ARE YOU DOING:

Too many times I find an exam script where the student has written an equation with variables in it, and not told me what the variables represent. If the answer is right, then I can usually figure out what the variables must be, and the student gets the marks. But if the answer is wrong, then sometimes it's impossible to work out what they were supposed to be. In this case the students gets zero for an incomprehensible answer.

Don't just write long lines of mathematics. Explain what you're trying to do with the derivation before you set off, and add comments as you go. It's easy, and can gain a lot of marks for method, even when the answer is wrong.
