Managers need to be strong decision makers who are comfortable interacting with a diverse group of people. In any type of business career, these skills are vital: budgeting, planning, directing, hiring, organizing and managing.

Accountants and auditors may have a master's degree in business administration, with a focus on accounting. Many financial analysts have a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Many work at least two years before applying to a graduate program.
