What the ADP Is and Who Can Apply
The HEC introduced the Associate Degree Program in 2020 to replace the two-year BA and BSc degrees. You need completed intermediate education (12 years of schooling) to enrol. The program runs two years across four semesters and usually needs 60 to 68 credit hours. VU opened Fall 2026 admissions for MS/MPhil, BS, ADP, B.Ed, diplomas and certificates. Applications for non-merit programs stayed open until 15 September 2026. VU admits students twice a year, in Spring and Fall, so the next window is the Spring session. Apply only through the official portal at vu.edu.pk/apply.

It also lists Science tracks in Mathematics, Economics and Statistics, and four-year-track programs such as Mass Communication and Psychology. ADP Degree in Punjab University
Punjab University's Department of Examinations runs online admission forms for the Associate Degree in Arts, Science and Commerce, Part-I and Part-II annual examinations 2026. In 2026 the deadline was extended to 31 March, and Part-I forms were open only to candidates with supply papers and valid remaining chances. Fresh candidates were not allowed to appear in Part-I.

Registration closed on 10 July and the entry test was on 12 July 2026. Superior also lists bridge routes for ADP graduates: BS Commerce, BS Accounting & Finance and BS Robotics (Post ADP). Riphah International College Lahore lists ADPs in Accounting & Finance, Anesthesia, Artificial Intelligence, Business Management, Computer Science, Cyber Security, English Literature, Food Sciences, IT Management, Medical Imaging Technology and Medical Lab Technology. One admissions portal reports a Fall 2026 last date of 20 October 2026, with scholarship seats on offer. That date is not from Riphah itself, so verify it at ric.edu.pk before you apply.

Choose VU if you need flexibility, are working, or live far from a campus, because it is online. Choose Superior or Riphah if you want classroom teaching and a campus routine.
