Sargodha University Subject List for BA Private Candidates

Sargodha University offers Bachelors in Arts (BA) for the duration of two years and exams are held at the end of Second Year. Candidates have to choose two elective subjects and one optional subject. The subjects of Psychology and Applied Psychology cannot be taken together. Candidates have to pass the Compulsory subject of Islamic Studies/Ethics and Pakistan Studies separately in the University Examinations.
 
List of compulsory, elective and optional subjects is given below.
 
Compulsory Subjects:
  1. English Language (200 marks)
  2. Islamiyat/ Ethics (60 marks)
  3. Pakistan Studies (40 marks)
 
Elective Subjects:(200 marks each, Choose 2 subjects)
  1. International Relations
  2. Journalism
  3. Social Work
  4. Persian
  5. Urdu
  6. Education
  7. Health & Physical Education
  8. English Literature
  9. Political Science
  10. Home Economics
  11. Fine Arts
  12. Psychology
  13. History
  14. Geography
  15. Punjabi
  16. Islamiyat
  •  
    Optional Subjects(100 marks, choose 1 subject)
    1. Arabic
    2. Geography
    3. Fine Arts
    4. Economics
    5. History
    6. Internal Relations
    7. English
    8. Journalism
    9. Home Economics
    10. Philosophy
    11. Persian
    12. Islamiat
    13. Psychology
    14. Political Science
    15. Sociology
    16. Social Work
    17. Punjabi
    18. Urdu
    19. Library Science
     
    No candidate shall be permitted to get optional subject, which he has taken as elective subject.
     
    All the candidates who are appearing for the first time will take the Examination as per new syllabus in the subjects in which Examination is being held according to both New & Old Syllabi.

    AOA sir mera BA main psychology ka paper fail ho gia tha lekan practical ka paper pass tha ab jab main 2020 annual main yeh paper don ga toa practical bhi dena pary ga k nahin shukria
