The University of Sargodha was established in 2002 by an ordinance of the Government of Pakistan Before, it was called the Government College, Sargodha. Bachelor of Arts (B.A) Degree is an Undergraduate Academic Degree awarded for a course or program usually in a branch of the Liberal Arts, the Sciences, or both. The B.A degree is one of the oldest and best-known degrees in the world. In Pakistan, the duration of Bachelor of Arts is 2 years in Simple and 4 Years for Hons Programs. Though it is a full time degree course but individual can also get degree as a private Learner. The university also offers BA program for its private candidates. Students who can’t afford fees and other charges, university offers them to take exams as a private candidate and after passing the exam they will have degree as regular candidates have. Many students from Sargodha region and from other cities apply for the BA private examinations every year.

The first step to appear in the exam is to get registration from the university. After getting registration university advertises its admissions and describes criteria for its private students. Candidates must follow rules and regulations and other procedure otherwise they would not be able to appear in the final exam.
