University of the Punjab is the largest and the oldest seat of higher learning in Pakistan and established in 1982. Every year thousands of students get themselves register for undergraduate, graduate and post graduate programs. PU every year opens admissions for both MA/MSc private and regular students. After getting BA or BSc degree students can apply for private master’s admission. PU offers only specific subjects for private students while regular students can get admission in all the subjects offered by the university. Registration and Admission process for private MA and MSc usually held in the month of January and September respectively while annual exams starts in July ever year. Punjab University has its two main campuses in Lahore while two sub campuses at Gujranwala and Khanspur which are offering programs in various fields.

At first stage the university registers the students and afterwards university advertises its admissions and describes criteria for its private students. Candidates must follow rules and regulations and other procedure otherwise they would not be able to appear in the final exam.
