ACMA is a certified course that stands for Associate for Costs and Management Accountants. The certification is affiliated to two international institutes; ICMAP (Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan) and ICAI (Institute of Cost Accountants of India) which are further related to IFAC (International Federation of Accountants) as members. These institutes are playing an essential role in the development and growth of accountants on national as well as international levels. ACMA professionals are considered the backbone of any institute. They provide their services towards gathering and analyzing data in financial institutes, public and private sectors, and the industrial sector as well. ACMA is considered a member of CIMA, as the specialized associate of CIMA. If a candidate wants to earn the certification of ACMA, they should complete a time frame of 3 years of practice. The ACMA exams are sub-divided into three parts held at a particular time frame throughout the year. ACMA is particularly more popular in the Middle East, US and India.
