Test Format of GAT Subject:

Total Questions (MCQs) = 100
Total Test Time = 120 Minutes (2 Hours)
Test Type: Paper Based

Test Contents:

General Section = 30% of the Total Test
Subject Section = 70% of the Total Test

Areas of General Section:

English (Verbal) = 15%
Analytical Reasoning = 15%

Note: Lists of eligible candidates, Test venue and Candidate instructions will be displayed on NTS website at least 7 days prior to test date.

What is NTS?
National Testing Service (NTS) is an NGO in Pakistan that conducts academic performance evaluation tests. It is similar to Educational Testing Service (ETS) in the US.

   

Types of NTS Tests
NTS provides services for conducting different Test by providing facilities both for individual candidates and institutions. These tests are prepared and assessed by experts and professionals of relevant fields.

   

National Aptitude Tests (NAT)
National Aptitude Test (NAT) is for admissions in NTS Associated Universities. The candidates will appear in a single test only and will stand qualified for admission to all universities in the relevant subject group.

   

Graduate Assessment Tests (GAT)
HEC has assigned NTS the responsibility to conduct GRE Type Test i.e. Graduate Assessment Test GAT-GENERAL for admissions in M.Phil and GAT-SUBJECT for PhD. Programs.

   

Graduate Employment Examination (GEE)
NTS has launched Graduate Employment Examination (GEE) to facilitate the Graduates seeking job opportunities in public and private sectors of Pakistan.
