UHS Merit List 2026: MBBS & BDS Selection Lists, MDCAT Result and 2026-27 Status
UHS has not released a 2026-27 MBBS/BDS merit list yet. MDCAT-2026 was held on 20 September 2026 and the Punjab result came out on 24 September. Admissions open only after UHS notifies the prospectus and schedule. The "UHS merit lists 2026" you can open today belong to session 2025-26, from the provisional list to the 13th and final MBBS selection list. Official links are below.
"UHS merit list 2026" means two different things right now. Some students want the lists published in 2026 for the session that just started. Others, who just sat MDCAT, want the list for the session that hasn't opened. Both are covered here.

Quota seats for candidates from other provinces/regions: provisional, final order of merit and the eighth and final selection list.
Last year's notified schedule showed three selection lists. UHS issued far more, because seats kept falling vacant when candidates didn't join. The notice said the number of lists was subject to PM&DC and Punjab government directives. Don't assume a list is your last chance until UHS calls it "final".
MDCAT-2026 result: Punjab numbers
UHS declared the result on 24 September 2026. Of 49,202 registered candidates, 47,475 appeared. A total of 37,708 reached the 55% MBBS pass mark (79.43%), and 40,457 qualified for BDS. When will the UHS 2026-27 merit list come out?
There is no announced date. Merit lists follow the application window, and the window opens only after UHS publishes its notice. Last year's sequence is useful as a reference, but it is not a 2026-27 date:

The Punjab government notified the admission policy on 22 October 2025.

Online applications ran 7-21 November 2025.

The provisional MBBS merit list followed on 26 November and the final order of merit on 28 November.

The first MBBS selection list came on 1 December. BDS ran about a month behind.

How UHS calculates merit
The 2025-26 formula was:

Worked example (illustrative): Matric 95%, F.Sc. 90%, MDCAT 160/180 (88.89%).
Aggregate = (0.10 × 95) + (0.40 × 90) + (0.50 × 88.89) = 9.5 + 36 + 44.44 = 89.94%.
The 2026-27 policy hasn't been notified, so confirm the weights in the new prospectus. Eligibility last year required at least 55% in MDCAT for MBBS (50% for BDS), at least 60% in HSSC Pre-Medical, and a Punjab domicile.

After your name appears on a selection list
Selection alone doesn't confirm admission. UHS requires both of these by the stated due date:

Download your fee challan from the admission portal and pay at the designated bank (BOP/NBP).

Join your college in writing as UHS prescribes.
Miss either one and the admission is cancelled for that year.
Documents to keep ready for 2026-27
This is based on the 2025-26 notice, so confirm it against the new prospectus:

Matric and HSSC certificates or result cards, attested by the board

Punjab domicile certificate

Your CNIC or B-Form

A parent or guardian CNIC

Category-specific proof, such as a disability certificate, Under-Developed District education proof, or overseas residence documents
Scan each file clearly. Last year's portal capped uploads at 1 MB per file.

Go to uhs.edu.pk and open Admissions, then Merit Lists. For 2025-26 you can jump straight to the hub above.

Choose public or private, then MBBS or BDS.

Open the list type you need and search for your name or application number.
