The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced the date for conducting the Law Admission Test (LAT). The Law Admission Test is designed for the candidates who are looking forward to admission in a 5-year LLB degree program in any HEC/ PBC affiliated universities or colleges that are affiliated with Public Sector Universities according to the directions of the Honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan. 

DATE OF LAW ADMISSION TEST (LAT)

It should be noted that the Higher Education Commission has announced the date for Law Admission Test. HEC will conduct the LAT on (Monday) May 15th, 2022 tentatively. HEC LAT Test 2022 will occur on the mentioned date any change will be notified on the official website.

NOTE: The last date for HEC LAT Registration 2022 is April 25, 2022.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR LAW ADMISSION TEST

Following students can now apply for Law Admissions Test:

  • Candidates who have completed HSSC or 12 years of education 
  • The candidates who are waiting for the result of their HSSC or equivalent 12 years of education

SYLLABUS AND TEST PATTERN

According to LAT Scheule 2022 Law Admission Test consists of a total of 100 marks out of which 50 marks are required to pass. The test is further divided into a division of questions of English, Urdu, General Knowledge, Islamic Studies, Pakistan Studies, and Mathematics.

HOW TO APPLY

  • For online registration candidates are requested to follow https://etc.hec.gov.pk/
  • The admission test is composed of two steps; profile completion and applications submission.
  • Candidates are required to provide the complete information only submitted forms will be accepted. Any incomplete application will not be entertained. 
  • The total fee of 1000/- should be submitted through an online bank
  • The candidates have to submit the deposit slips to the Member’s House

Important Instructions

  • The candidates who have applied for online LAT Test Registration 2022, will be able to download their roll number slips and registered email addresses a week before the test.
  • The candidates are advised to provide the authentic email address/ mobile number to receive roll number slips
  • A confirmation email or SMS of the test date, time, and venue will be sent to the candidates 
  • Candidates are required to bring a printed roll number slip and an original CNIC to enter the test center
