Chief Minister Merit Scholarships (CMMS) Announces Academic Scholarships For Ph.D. Level Degree Program (2020-21)

The Chief Minister has recently announced Chief Minister Merit scholarships (CMMS) for Ph.D. students. This Ph.D. scholarship program in Pakistan 2020 aims to help out students with their academic background in order to complete their post-graduate education. Moreover, all students are advised t5o apply according to the given eligibility and ineligibly criteria and document requirements that are compulsory for CMMS scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria For Scholarship

1. The candidate must have valid Ph.D. admission offer in one of the Top 50 QS Ranked (Subject Wise) Universities of the World, in preferred subject areas
2. The applicant has not scored less than 60% marks throughout his academic career.
3. The monthly family income should be equal to or less than PKR 200,000.
4. The maximum age of applicant should not exceed more than 35 years on 12th May 2020.
5. All Pakistani Nationals including both males and females are eligible to apply for CMMS scholarship.

Ineligibility Criteria For Scholarship

1. The applicant who availed any foreign scholarship in the past years of his academic background is not eligible to apply.
2. For Chief Minister Merit Scholarships all the regular faculty members of a government department that are teaching in educational institutions of Pakistan on a regular and permanent basis are not eligible to apply

Documents Requirement For Scholarship

1. All applicants applying for Chief Minister Merit scholarships must have to submit a copy of valid admission offer for Ph.D. for fall 2020 along with an attested copy of domicile and three passport size photographs.
2. For CMMS scholarship the attested copy of CNIC along with copy of Passport, attested copies of all educational testimonials and copy of the research proposal.
3. Applicants are advised to attach income affidavit on legal paper along with a copy of last paid utility bills with their application form.
