The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is a joint initiative of A*STAR, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and Singapore Management University. SINGA promotes an active and culturally diverse research community among international students.

Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) 2026 is available for PhD studies in STEM fields offered by universities. The deadline for sending your application is June 1, 2025. This scholarship is given by the Government of Singapore and is valued at full funding, tuition costs, a monthly stipend, and other privileges. The scholarship is offered to all nationals excluding Singaporeans.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants should be enthusiastic in research and have outstanding academic records.
  • Applications are open to all international grads.
  • Candidates must have excellent written and spoken English abilities.
  • Students should provide positive reports from academic referees.

Benefits of the Scholarship

Successful applicants to the International Graduate Award (SINGA) Scholarship will receive:

  • Tuition costs.
  • The monthly stipend of $2,700 will be enhanced to S$3,200 upon completing the Qualifying Examination.
  • A one-time airfare reward of up to S$1,500.
  • One-time S$1,000 settling-in allowance.

Note:  The application deadline is solely open for NTU applications.
