o   Cultural Exchange Programme for students

Annually, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations provides these scholarships to international students as per the terms and conditions of Cultural Exchange Programme signed among the Government of India as well as the Government of the respective state for studying, training as well as research in different fields of study.

o   Commonwealth Fellowship Plan for students

These scholarships are offered on annual basis to the aspirants from Commonwealth nation’s most commonly for postgraduate level studies; however, some scholarships are also available for the students of undergraduate level in those disciplines for which sufficient facilities might not exist in the country of student.

o   SAARC Fellowship Scheme for Students

The Government of India has also introduced the SAARC Fellowship and Scholarship programme. Under this programme 6 fellowships while 12 scholarships are offered on annual basis to the residents of member states.

o   ICCR Scholarship Scheme for Students

The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India provides ICCR scholarships to the apsirants from the entire world. Under this scheme 60 aspirants get scholarships to study undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Performing as well as Visual Arts. The subjects in these programs include Indian Classical Music, Dance, Painting as well as Sculpture.

ICMR-DHR International Fellowship Programme For Indian Biomedical Scientists 2023.

Eligibility for the ICMR-DHR International Fellowship Programme For Indian Biomedical Scientists:

  • The applicant should be a citizen of India and working in the country.
  • The applicant should possess an M.D/M.S/Ph.D degree (M.D./ M.S./ M.D.S. or MBBS/BDS/ MVSc./ M.Sc./M.Pharma/M.Tech or equivalent with Ph.D. in health / biomedical research)  with at least fifteen years of experience (for availing the fellowship for 15 days) and at least three years of experience (for availing the fellowship for 1-3 months) in teaching/research in a recognized Institute after obtaining the requisite qualification.
  • The applicant should submit a letter of acceptance from the host Institute where he/she proposes to work during the fellowship.
  • The applicant should submit a plan of proposed training for availing of the fellowship.
  • Candidates belonging to private colleges/universities have to submit a recognition letter from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Eligibility criteria for the Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarships:

Only Indian nationals are eligible.

Applicants whose parental income is less than Rs.6.00 lakhs are eligible .

One child of the family shall be eligible under this scheme.

Applicants shall avail the 33% of the awards earmarked for Women Candidates.

Applicants who got minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examinations will be selected as per order of merit.

Eligibility for the Nirankari Rajmata Scholarship Scheme:

Applicants should be regular students of any Institution/College recognized by the Central/State Government, admitted through a competitive written test.

The income of the family from all sources, to which the applicant belongs, should not be more than Rs. 3.50 lakhs per annum.

The applicant/applicant’s family should submit the latest pay slips and I.T.R of all the earning family members or a family Income Certificate issued by the SDM/Tehsildar/BDO or any other officer authorized in this behalf by the Revenue Department indicating that the total annual income of the family is not more than Rs. 3.50 lakhs. The date of issue of the Income Certificate should not be more than three months prior to the date of submission of the application.
