Minorities’ Welfare Fund Scholarship

The Minorities’ Welfare Fund (MWF) provides financial assistance to deserving minority students in Pakistan. Each year, hundreds of students receive scholarships at different academic levels, ranging from school to higher education, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs. The goal is to help minority students continue their studies without the burden of financial stress.

Eligibility Criteria

Students applying for the 2025-26 MWF Scholarship must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a citizen of Pakistan belonging to a recognized minority community (Christian, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi, Kalash, etc.).
  • Must be enrolled in a recognized public or government institution.
  • Should have passed the last examination with at least 50% marks.
  • Parents’/guardians’ monthly income should not exceed the specified income threshold (as announced in the official notification).
  • Applicants should not already be receiving any other scholarship.

Benefits of the Scholarship

Selected students will receive financial support covering tuition fees, examination costs, and other academic expenses. In some cases, stipends may also be provided. The funds are generally disbursed directly into the student’s bank account after verification.

  • Download the form from the official MORA/IH website or affiliated portals.
  • Fill the application carefully with all required details.
  • Attach documents, including CNIC/B-Form, minority certificate, income certificate, academic transcripts, and verification from the head of institution.
  • Submit the form through your educational institution before the deadline. Late or incomplete applications are not considered.
