- Environmental science & climate change
- Political science & governance
- Human rights & social justice
- Gender studies
- Sustainable development
- Engineering, IT, and more
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Heinrich Böll Foundation Scholarship, applicants should:
- Possess a strong academic background.
- Be involved in social and political activities.
- Show a profound interest in ecology, sustainability, democracy, and justice.
- Reach a German language skill level of at least B2 or DSH-2.
- Provide verification of acceptance or enrollment in a Master’s or doctoral program at a recognized German university in Germany.
Pakistani students can apply as Students from Non-EU Countries.
Scholarship Benefits
For Master’s Students (Non-EU):
- Monthly stipend of €934
- Additional allowances for books, health insurance, and travel
- Tuition fees in some cases (if applicable)
For Doctoral Students (Non-EU):
- Monthly stipend of €1,200
- Research and conference allowances
- Family and child care allowances (if applicable)
