About the Project

The chosen PhD candidates will work on a project that focuses on recycling old sodium-ion batteries and turning them into useful materials for the environment and industry.

Here are some main areas they'll be looking at:

Recovering and processing battery materials, like hard carbon anodes and different metal cathodes.
Creating advanced materials, such as adsorbents and catalysts.
Analyzing costs and environmental effects to see how practical and eco-friendly the processes are.

Eligibility Requirements

Qualifications Needed:

A master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Chemistry.
A GPA of at least 85 out of 100 (or something similar).
Strong English skills, whether from studies or test scores.

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with battery recycling, catalyst synthesis, adsorption, or thermal treatment.
Experience with analytical methods.
Some knowledge of TEA, LCA, or engineering-related AI tools.
