Key Benefits of RTP and DUPR Scholarships
- Annual Stipend: Successful candidates will be paid a tax-free stipend of $35,550 per year (2025 rate).
- Relocation Allowance: Students transferring from interstate or overseas might receive a one-time payment of up to $1,500.
- Tuition Fee Offset: The scholarship provides full tuition fee coverage for the duration of the program.
- Overseas Student Health Coverage (OSHC): International students will be given a single OSHC policy.
Scholarship Duration
- Doctoral Degree (PhD): Up to three years' stipend and four years' tuition coverage.
- Master's by Research: Stipend and tuition support for two years.
Who Can Apply?
- Domestic and international students enroll in Deakin's Higher Degree by Research program.
- Applicants must have completed at least four years of postsecondary study and have an outstanding academic record (at least 80% in the research component).
- Those with relevant research expertise, publications, or industry activity will be given preference.
- Candidates must not be receiving a similar scholarship or earning more than 75% of the stipend amount.
