The BWG Youth Scholarship Program 2025 is now accepting applications, offering an incredible opportunity for young residents of Bradford West Gwillimbury (BWG) to be recognized for their achievements and community involvement. This annual scholarship supports local students pursuing higher education in Canada and rewards those who demonstrate leadership, innovation, and a passion for positive change.
The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury proudly offers five scholarships worth $1,000 each, open to BWG residents who are either graduating from high school or currently enrolled in a full-time Canadian post-secondary program. The scholarship categories reflect diverse fields that contribute to community growth and development, including:
To apply, candidates must complete an application form and provide proof of enrollment or acceptance into a Canadian post-secondary institution. Applicants are also required to submit a project or essay (500–1,000 words), or a 3–5 minute video, reflecting on the importance of public service and their contributions to the BWG community.
The deadline for submission is November 10, 2025, by 4:00 PM (EST). Successful candidates will be recognized by the Town Council for their exceptional dedication and service.
