Bannu board was inaugurated in year 1990. For the very first time it holds the exams of inter and matric in 1991. The main purpose of its establishment is to hold SSC and HSSC exams. Bannu board is responsible to hold the exams of Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank, North and South Waziristan.
