GAT - GENERAL

Higher Education Commission (HEC) has allocated National Testing Service (NTS) the obligation to hold GRE Type Test i.e. Graduate Assessment Test GAT-GENERAL for admissions in M.Phil as well as in HEC Scholarship Schemes and GAT-SUBJECT for PhD Programs.

The GAT test result will be considered valid for 2 years for admissions as well as for HEC Scholarship Schemes.

The candidates who want to enhance their preceding GAT Score can also apply.

The aspirants will have to qualify other identified criteria of the Universities or the HEC Schemes.

The applicants with a minimum of 16 years of education are eligible to apply for the test.

Cell phones are not allowed in the boundaries of the test center.

According to the policy decision of HEC, the GAT test validity (GAT General or Subject) for 2 years will be effective from 1st January 2007 to onwards.
