The admission process to enroll for a postgraduate degree of Master of Science in Public Health begins after the candidate has completed their bachelor’s degree. Several universities in Pakistan are offering this program as per HEC recommendations. Students are required to get the prospectus of their desired university. After fulfilling the written requirements and attaching several documents. They need to submit their application forms to the admission department of the respective university within the due date. Applicants can also fill out the online application form available on the official websites. The universities publish the dates of various entry tests and interviews if any. The successful candidates then wait for the merit lists.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for a Master of Science in Public Health are vast. The students who have done any of the medical health-related bachelor’s degrees can pursue an MS degree in Public Health. The variety of fields include:
- MBBS
- DVM
- Pharm D
- Doctor of Physiotherapy
- Bachelor in Nutrition Sciences
- Bachelor in Nursing
- Or any other equivalent degree
The candidates must possess a minimum of 50% marks in their respective bachelor’s degrees.
Admission Intake
The admission Intake is of two types; yearly or twice a year i.e. fall (September session) or spring (March/April session). The intakes system depends upon the various universities.
Entry Test
The entry test is an essential element of every university. Every year thousands of applicants undergo various entry tests as part of the admission procedure. Every university has its criteria for the entry test. The test can be either MCQs based or descriptive questions.
GAT (Graduate Assessment Test) is an entry-level test that is widely accepted in various GAT-associated universities. Several GAT-associated universities include; (the University of Management and Technology, the University of Swat, Kinnaird College for Women, and several more). The test consists of various sections covering the general, analytical, mathematics, research, and field-related parts.

HEALTH SERVICES ACADEMY
The Health Services Academy (HAS) is considered the first HEC recognized institute to provide the award of Master of Science in Public Health. It is a prestigious institute that started the degree of MSPH intending to empower public health and its issues. To enable students to learn and ensure a healthy community. It is a research-based degree that leads to the growth of future public health workers in public and private sectors, NGOs, various other organizations, etc.
To enroll for the degree of MSPH at Health Services Academy, an applicant must have completed their studies in any of the following programs; MBBS, BDS, DVM, DPT, BS Nutrition, Nursing, Pharm D, or other equivalent degrees.
THE SHAHEED ZULFIKAR ALI BHUTTO INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (SZABIST)
SZABIST offers a 2-year degree in Master of Science in Public Health. The institute has divided the program into two streams; with 36 credit hours or 60 credit hours. The students can apply in any of the streams with various elective courses and a thesis project.
The main objective to offer MSPH is to teach students the knowledge of public health. The eligibility criteria for SZABIST is to have 16 years of education in MBBS, DVM, DPT, or equivalent degrees.
UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES LAHORE
The candidate who has completed 16 years of education in the following or equivalent degrees; MBBS, BDS, DPT, DVM, Pharm D, Nutrition, Nursing, etc are eligible to enroll for MSPH at the University of Health Sciences (UHS). It has merit-based selection criteria.
The applicant who is successful to enroll themselves at UHS learns various public health aspects. They get the knowledge and training of working in different public and private sectors as health care workers.
INSTITUTE OF HEALTH AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES
