IWAL – POSITIONS VACANT

The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Swat, invites applications from interested and eligible Pakistani nationals (who are not married to foreign nationals) for appointment on a contract basis against the following positions. Details of the available posts, including eligibility criteria, are as follows:

1. Professor (BPS-21)

Number of Posts: 01 post in each discipline
Disciplines:

  • Veterinary Medicine

  • Theriogenology

  • Veterinary Microbiology

Eligibility Criteria:

  • As per HEC (Higher Education Commission) guidelines.

  • Valid PVMC (Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council) registration is mandatory.

2. Associate Professor (BPS-20)

Number of Posts: 01 post in each discipline
Disciplines:

  • Veterinary Pathology

  • Clinical Medicine & Surgery

  • Animal Nutrition / Animal Breeding & Genetics

  • Dairy Technology

  • Veterinary Parasitology

  • Veterinary Microbiology

Eligibility Criteria:

  • As per HEC guidelines.

  • Valid PVMC registration is mandatory.

3. Assistant Professor (BPS-19)

Number of Posts: 01 post in each discipline
Disciplines:

  • Veterinary Pharmacology

  • Veterinary Physiology

  • Biochemistry

  • Clinical Medicine & Surgery

  • Animal Nutrition / Animal Breeding & Genetics

Eligibility Criteria:

  • As per HEC guidelines.

  • Valid PVMC registration is required where applicable.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Application Procedure:

    • Candidates must apply online through the university website: www.uvasswat.edu.pk.

    • Application forms and deposit slips are available on the website.

  2. Processing Fee (Non-refundable):

    • Rs. 5000/- for Professor

    • Rs. 4000/- for Associate Professor

    • Rs. 2500/- for Assistant Professor

    • Deposit to Account No. PK20KHYB0093002009149891, titled: The University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences Swat at any branch of Bank of Khyber (BOK).

  3. Submission of Hard Copy:
    A printed copy of the completed application form, along with the required documents, must be submitted by hand or courier to:
    Office of the Additional Registrar,
    House No. 397, Sector C, Kanju Township, Swat
    Deadline: June 02, 2025 (within office hours)

  4. Required Documents (Attested Copies):

    • All academic degrees, certificates, and transcripts (DMCs)

    • Experience certificates from previous employers

    • Three (03) recent passport-size photographs

    • Valid PVMC registration certificate (where applicable)

    • Original fee deposit slip

    • NOC from current employer (for in-service applicants)

  5. Important Notes:

    • Incomplete applications or those missing required documents will not be accepted.

    • Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate forms and fees for each.

    • A CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 will be treated as First Division.

    • The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or withhold appointments without providing any reason.

    • Any fake or tampered documents will result in legal action.

    • Errors or omissions, if any, are subject to correction by the university.
