Career Opportunity

The University of Swabi, a public sector university chartered by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the following project-based positions. These positions are under the project titled:

"Provision of Missing Facilities at the University of Swabi at New Campus Site"

All appointments will be made on a fixed-pay basis for a period of one year or until the project is completed, whichever comes first, and are subject to performance till July 25, 2025.

1. Project Director

Age Limit: Up to 45 years
Required Qualification & Experience:
Candidates must possess one of the following:

• PhD from an HEC-recognized university/institution with 7 years of relevant experience in a university, government organization, or autonomous body in BPS-17 or equivalent and above.
  OR

• First Division Degree (18 years of education) from an HEC-recognized university/institution with 10 years of relevant experience as above.
  OR

• First Division Degree (16 years of education) from an HEC-recognized university/institution with 12 years of relevant experience in BPS-17 or equivalent and above.

Additional Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in project management or implementation.

• Must possess basic knowledge of project management fundamentals, especially those related to the Government of Pakistan’s PSDP projects.

Preference:
Will be given to candidates having experience in monitoring and supervision of developmental projects in public sector universities, government organizations, semi-government bodies, or autonomous organizations of international repute.

2. Project Engineer (Civil)

Age Limit: Up to 35 years
Required Qualification & Experience:

• First Class Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience in BPS-16.

• Experience preferably in government works departments or national/international building and civil works projects.

Preference:
Will be given to candidates with a background in monitoring and supervision of developmental projects in public sector universities, government, semi-government, or autonomous bodies of international repute.

3. Sub Engineer (Civil)

Age Limit: Up to 35 years
Required Qualification & Experience:
Candidates must have one of the following:

• B-Tech (Honors) in the relevant field with at least 2nd division and 3 years of relevant experience.

• DAE (Civil) in 2nd division with 5 years of relevant experience.

Experience Preference:

• Experience should preferably be in government works departments or national/international building and civil works projects.

Preference:
Given to candidates with monitoring and supervision experience in developmental projects at public sector universities, government, semi-government, or autonomous bodies of international repute.
