3. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum Qualification: MS or M.Phil. (First Division) or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute.

  • Note: Applicants with a third division in their academic career are ineligible. However, Ph.D. holders in the relevant field with no more than one third division throughout their academic history may be considered.

4. Important Instructions:

  1. This is a revised version of Advertisement No. 378, previously published. The last date in the earlier version was February 14, 2025.

  2. Applicants who could not apply earlier due to omission of the phrase "or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute" are now encouraged to apply by June 23, 2025.

  3. Previously submitted applications remain valid; no need to reapply.

  4. Download application form from: www.uo.edu.pk

  5. Submit the completed application form along with the original bank draft/deposit slip by June 30, 2025.

  6. Government/Semi-Government/autonomous body employees must apply through proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate at the time of the interview.

  7. Separate applications are required for open merit and reserved quota positions.

  8. Screening Test (if conducted) is mandatory for all applicants, regardless of quota.

  9. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

  10. Application Processing Fee: Rs. 1,000/- (non-refundable, per application)

    • Payable via Bank Draft (NTN No. 9021534-6) in favor of Treasurer, University of Okara, or

    • Deposit into HBL Account No. 01527913908901

    • Attach proof of payment with application.

  11. Applications must be submitted in hard copy to the Registrar’s Office before the deadline.

  12. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in tests or interviews.

  13. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government policy.

  14. Reserved quotas for women, minorities, and disabled persons will be observed.

  15. The University reserves the right to cancel, withdraw or amend any advertised post or the entire advertisement without assigning reasons.

  16. The number of posts may be increased or decreased as per university needs and budget availability.
