4. Important Instructions / Information

  1. Only shortlisted applicants will be called for test/interview.

  2. In addition to the existing five years general relaxation in upper age limit under prevailing Government rules/policy, all candidates will also be allowed an upper age relaxation of five years instead of the existing three years — only for this special exercise.

  3. Applicants already in Government Service should apply Through Proper Channel.

  4. Applicants may apply for more than one post by submitting a separate application for each post.

  5. Applicants shortlisted for interview will present original documents along with a set of attested copies of degrees/certificates issued by HEC/recognized boards/universities/institutes.

  6. Information provided in the application form will be verified; in case of any false or forged information or fake/bogus documents, the Department reserves the right to cancel candidature at any stage.

  7. The Department reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process in part or whole or increase/decrease the number of posts.

  8. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.

  9. Applications incomplete or received after the expiry date will not be entertained.

  10. Selected candidates shall be recruited/posted in any of the field offices of the Department of the Auditor-General of Pakistan, except for Serial No. 3 and 4 (Staff Car Driver and Naib Qasid).

  11. Applications may be submitted through the National Job Portal (www.njp.gov.pk) within 15 days from the date of advertisement. Direct applications to the office of the Auditor-General of Pakistan shall not be entertained.

  12. For identical posts up to BS-16 requiring trainable skills (typing, shorthand, or basic computer proficiency), a one-time relaxation of the requirement to possess the prescribed skill at the time of initial appointment is proposed. If a candidate does not acquire the prescribed proficiency through departmental on-the-job training within the probation period, proficiency shall be assessed before confirmation, and failure to acquire it shall be dealt with under the applicable probation and service rules.
