INVITATION FOR APPLICATIONS

The Provincial Headquarters (PHQ) Teaching Hospital Gilgit, a premier medical institution in Gilgit-Baltistan, has been fully accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) for FCPS-II training in various specialties.

FCPS Part-II Training Admissions (6th Batch)

Applications are invited for the 6th Batch of FCPS Part-II Training, starting from 1st July 2025, in the following departments:

Facilities Available for Postgraduate Trainees (PGs)

  1. Hostel Accommodation: Separate, well-furnished hostel facilities for male and female PGs.

  2. Library: A well-stocked library with relevant books, journals, and 24/7 internet-enabled computers.

  3. Diagnostic Equipment: Advanced imaging facilities including MRI, CT Scan, Mammography, Digital Radiography (D.R.), and laboratory services.

  4. Operation Theaters: Fully equipped OT facilities available round-the-clock for Neuro, Ortho, Eye, ENT, and General Surgery.

  5. Gynae Services: A dedicated, fully functional gynecology theater with labor room.

  6. ICU and NICU: Well-furnished Neuro ICU and Neonatal ICU wards.

  7. CCU Wards: Separate cardiac care units for male and female patients.

  8. Faculty: Highly qualified consultants serving as teaching faculty.

  9. Environment: A neat, clean, and peaceful environment conducive to learning and clinical training.

Eligibility & Application Process

Doctors who have successfully passed FCPS Part-I are eligible to apply. Applications must be submitted along with attested copies of the required documents to the Office of the Medical Superintendent no later than 28th June 2025.

Required Documents:

  1. Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  2. MBBS Degree along with mark sheets of all professional examinations

  3. House Job Completion Certificate

  4. FCPS Part-I Pass Certificate

  5. Copy of CNIC

  6. PMDC Certificate

  7. Domicile Certificate

  8. NOC through proper channel (for applicants currently employed in public or private sector)

  9. Affidavit stating the applicant is not employed in public or private sector (if applicable)

  10. Three (03) recent passport-size color photographs
