Recruitment as Soldier (Sipahi) in the Pakistan Army

Online registration and recruitment will be conducted from 2 March to 22 May 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

• Male citizens of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan

• Both married and unmarried candidates are eligible

Categories & Educational Qualifications

1. Soldier (General Duty)

• Minimum Matriculation (10th grade) or above

2. Soldier (Technical)

• Minimum Matriculation (Science) with B Grade

• Higher qualified candidates will be given preference

3. Soldier Clerk

• Minimum Intermediate (C Grade)

• For candidates from specified districts of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa & Gilgit-Baltistan: minimum Intermediate with relaxed criteria

• Computer-literate and highly educated candidates will be preferred

4. Soldier Nursing Assistant

• Minimum FSc (Pre-Medical) with at least 50% marks

5. Soldier Military Police

• Minimum Matriculation

6. Soldier Driver

• Valid driving license holders will be preferred

7. Sanitary Worker

• No formal education required

• Maximum age limit: 35 years (as of 23 May 2026)

All positions are pensionable (as per rules).

Age Limit

• 17½ to 23 years as of 23 May 2026 (for all categories except Sanitary Worker)

Age Relaxation

• 2 years relaxation for:

  • Family members of martyrs

  • War-wounded personnel

  • Candidates with driving licenses

• 3 years relaxation for candidates from specified districts of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

• Height relaxation of 2 cm for candidates belonging to certain areas

Height Requirements

• General Duty / Technical / Military Police: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm)

• Clerk: Minimum 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm)

• Military Police: Minimum 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm)

• Driver: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm)

• Original educational certificates with attested photocopies

• 4 recent passport-size photographs

• Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)

• Domicile certificate

• State subject certificate (for Azad Kashmir candidates)

• Relevant documents for age relaxation (if applicable)

Selection Procedure

Candidates can register online at:

Online registration is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates may also visit the nearest Army Selection & Recruitment Center from 2 March to 22 May 2026 for registration.

After registration, candidates will undergo various tests and selection stages.
