2. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Professor

  • Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Commerce, CS & IT, Education, Pharmacy).

  • Experience: 15 years of teaching/research in HEC-recognized institutions or equivalent professional experience.

  • Publications: At least 15 research publications (4 in HEC-recognized journals in the last 5 years).

Associate Professor

  • Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant field.

  • Experience: 10 years of teaching/research in HEC-recognized institutions or equivalent.

  • Publications: At least 10 research publications (4 in HEC-recognized journals in the last 5 years).

Lecturer

  • Qualification: First Class MS/M.Phil. (18 years of education) in relevant field with minimum CGPA 3.00 and no third division.

  • Experience: 3 years of teaching experience in an HEC-recognized institution.

3. APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Application Form:

    • Obtain from BBSUL main campus (Faqeer Muhammad Durra Khan Road, near Kashti Chowk, Karachi).

  2. Submission Deadline:
    Submit complete applications by 13th June 2025 to the Office of the Registrar.

  3. Required Documents:

    • Resume with cover letter

    • Attested copies of educational and experience certificates

    • Domicile, PRC, CNIC

    • Four recent passport-size photographs

    • Bank receipt/pay order:

      • Rs. 2,500/- (Lecturers)

      • Rs. 5,000/- (Associate Professors/Professors)

    • Payable to Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari

4. IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

  • Original documents must be presented during the interview.

  • Applicants currently employed in public sector must apply through proper channel.

  • No TA/DA will be provided for interviews.

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

  • In case of selection, a NOC or resignation is required from the current employer.
