Vacancy Announcement

The Women Development Department, Government of the Punjab, invites applications from suitable candidates holding domicile of Punjab Province for the following project-based post under the development project titled:

“Strategic Planning and Implementation Unit 2024–27”

The appointment will be made on a contract basis, initially up to 30-06-2027. In case of extension of the development scheme, the contract may be extended subject to satisfactory performance of the employee.

Position Details

Senior Policy Analyst / Team Lead (PPS-11)

No. of Posts: 01
Pay Package: Rs. 700,000/- per month

Age Limit:

  • 32 to 45 years

  • Age relaxation will be granted as per Government of Punjab Notification No. SOR-I(S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 21.05.2012:

    • Male: 5 years

    • Female: 8 years

Qualification

  • Master’s Degree (16 years of education) in:

    • Social Sciences

    • Management Sciences

  • Degree must be from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Experience

  • Minimum 08 years of post-qualification experience in research and analysis, preferably in policy analysis.

  • Out of 8 years, at least 2 years of experience as a Team Lead in provincial, regional, or international organizations will be preferred.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • International and regional policies related to women empowerment

    • Successful models and best practices for gender equality

    • International commitments of Pakistan regarding women’s rights and progress

  • Strong administrative and managerial skills

  • Excellent research, analytical, and report-writing skills

  • Strong computer proficiency

General Instructions & Conditions

  1. The competent authority reserves the right to:

    • Cancel the recruitment process at any stage

    • Increase or decrease the number of posts without assigning any reason

  2. The position is:

    • Purely project-based

    • Contractual (up to 30-06-2027)

    • Post-specific and non-transferable

  3. Government employees must apply through proper channel.

  4. Only candidates domiciled in any district of Punjab are eligible to apply.

  5. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.

  6. Submission of fake documents or concealment of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of recruitment or during service.

  7. The department’s decision regarding eligibility, shortlisting, and selection criteria shall be final.

  8. Final terms and conditions of appointment will be settled at the time of appointment.

  10. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
