URAAN Pakistan – Job Opportunity

The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) is in the process of establishing an Information Technology Park in Islamabad with partner funding from the Exim Bank of Korea.

A Project Management Unit (PMU) has been formed to oversee the project and invites applications from dynamic, qualified, and professional individuals. Recruitment will be made on open merit with competitive compensation packages.

Available Positions

1. Senior Manager (PPS-10)

  • Equivalent Scale: BPS-20
  • Number of Posts: 01

Qualification

  • Minimum 16 years of education
  • Degree in:
    • Public Policy
    • Public Administration
    • Economics
    • Management
    • Or equivalent (recognized by HEC)

Experience

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities & Skills

  • Report directly to the Project Director
  • Research global best practices and develop policy incentives for the IT Park
  • Develop strategic roadmaps, master plans, and long-term development strategies
  • Deliver project management services and ensure performance metrics in procurement plans
  • Monitor project progress and implement control mechanisms
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (fluent in English)
  • Leadership ability and teamwork skills
  • Problem-solving under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in:
    • MS Office
    • MS Project
    • Internet and email applications

Age Limit

  • Maximum 50 years

2. Manager Finance (PPS-09)

  • Equivalent Scale: BPS-19
  • Number of Posts: 01

Qualification

  • Minimum 16 years of education
  • Degree in:
    • Finance
    • Accounting
    • BBA
    • Or equivalent (recognized by HEC)

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of commercial experience
  • Preferably in:
    • Construction
    • Infrastructure development companies

Age Limit

  • Maximum 45 years

General Terms & Conditions

  1. The positions are Islamabad-based and offered on a contract basis, extendable based on performance.
  2. Selected candidates will receive a lump sum salary package.
