VACANT POSITION

Bolan Mining Enterprises (BME)

(A Joint Venture of Government of Balochistan & Pakistan Petroleum Limited)

Bolan Mining Enterprises (BME) invites applications from qualified, experienced, and competent professionals for the following contract-based position. This is a one-year contract appointment, extendable based on satisfactory performance.

Position Title: Security Officer

Location: Khuzdar, Balochistan
Age Limit: Maximum 50 Years

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized university

  • Preference will be given to Retired Major / Lieutenant Colonel or equivalent rank from the Armed Forces

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of active service (for retired Armed Forces personnel)

  • Strong operational and field experience, preferably in challenging environments

Required Expertise & Competencies

The ideal candidate must demonstrate expertise in:

  • Access control systems and perimeter security

  • Security patrolling and surveillance management

  • Incident reporting and investigation procedures

  • Emergency response coordination

  • Liaison with law enforcement agencies

  • Land acquisition security matters

  • Stakeholder and community management

  • Working experience in Balochistan, preferably in remote or mining areas

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure overall security of mining operations and associated facilities

  • Develop and implement site security protocols and SOPs

  • Supervise security staff and monitor performance

  • Coordinate with local administration and law enforcement authorities

  • Manage crisis situations and ensure timely incident reporting

  • Oversee compliance with company security policies and regulatory requirements
