PAKISTAN VETERINARY MEDICAL COUNCIL (PVMC)

SITUATION VACANT

The Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC), an autonomous body under the Federal Government, invites applications from Pakistani Nationals for the following contract-based position. The initial contract will be for one year, extendable with approval from the Council.

Position Details

  • Post Title: Secretary / Registrar

  • Grade: BPS-19

  • No. of Posts: 01

  • Domicile: Merit

  • Age Limit: 32 to 40 years

Eligibility Criteria

Option 1:

  • Qualification:

    • MSc (Hons) or M.Phil in Veterinary Sciences (at least 2nd Class or Grade C)

    • DVM or B.Sc (Hons) Animal Husbandry

  • Experience:

    • 08 years of experience in administrative, technical, or research fields

  • Additional Requirements:

    • Degree must be from a HEC/PVMC recognized institution/university

    • Must be registered with PVMC

OR

Option 2:

  • Qualification:

    • DVM or B.Sc (Hons) Animal Husbandry (at least 2nd Class or Grade C)

  • Experience:

    • 12 years of experience in administrative, technical, or research fields

  • Additional Requirements:

    • Degree must be from a HEC/PVMC recognized institution/university

    • Must be registered with PVMC

Note:
Experience requirement may be relaxed by:

  • 2 years for M.Phil degree holders

  • 4 years for PhD degree holders

Terms & Conditions

  1. Applications must be submitted within 15 days of the advertisement's publication.

  2. Include attested copies of credentials, brief CV, and two recent photographs.

  3. A non-refundable demand draft/pay order of Rs. 2000/- in favor of PVMC Islamabad must be attached.

  4. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.

  5. Applicants serving in Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel.

  6. Age relaxation will be granted as per Government rules.

  7. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test/interview.
