POSITIONS VACANT

Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for appointment on a purely contract basis against temporary posts under the PSDP Project titled:

“Development of ICT and Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Precision Agriculture Systems utilizing Dual-Use Aerospace Technologies (GreenAI)”

The appointments will initially be for one (01) year, extendable further based on satisfactory performance. The project is being executed at NASTP, Rawalpindi / Islamabad, under the Ministry of Defence, Pakistan.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

1. Scientific Officer

  • Pay Scale: PPS-08

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • PhD in Biotechnology, Synthetic Biology, Metabolic Engineering, Bioinformatics, Precision Agriculture, or related disciplines

    • Preference will be given to candidates with relevant research experience

  • Job Responsibilities:

    • Conduct research, design, and development activities related to:

      • Microbial soil bio-factors

      • Biopesticides

      • Pre-treatment processing techniques

    • Perform assigned duties under the guidance of the Project Manager

2. Computer Assistant

  • Pay Scale: PPS-04

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • Trained computer operator

    • Preferably holding a Computer Diploma

    • Minimum 01 year relevant experience

3. Field Worker

  • Pay Scale: PPS-02

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • Middle or Matric qualification

    • Practical experience in agriculture and farm-related activities

    • Willingness to work in field conditions
