SITUATION VACANT

Agricultural Biotechnology Research Institute (ABRI), AARI, Faisalabad

Applications are invited from Punjab domiciled candidates for the post of Research Associate under the Punjab Agricultural Research Board (PARB) funded project titled:
"Integration Approaches for the Identification and Commercialization of Novel Rust and Lodging Tolerant Wheat Lines Well-Suited to the Harsh Climate of Punjab, Pakistan"
(PARB Project No. 23-277).
The appointment will be made on a contract basis.

Position Details

  • Post Title: Research Associate

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Age Limit: 21–35 years

  • Project Duration: 5 years (initially for 1 year, extendable on satisfactory performance)

  • Pay Package: Rs. 75,000/- per month (inclusive of all allowances)

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Academic Qualification:

    • M.Sc. / M.Phil. in Agricultural Biotechnology, Plant Breeding & Genetics, or Plant Pathology

  • Preferred Experience:

    • Candidates with practical knowledge and expertise in DNA isolation and PCR techniques will be given preference
