POSITIONS VACANT

Applications are invited from qualified individuals domiciled in Punjab/ICT for recruitment under the HEC-Funded NRPU Project No. 87309. Applications must be submitted both in hard copy and online as per the instructions given below.

HEC FUNDED PROJECT (NRPU-87309) POSITIONS

1. Research Assistant

Pay Package: Rs. 100,000/- per month
Number of Posts: 01
Duration: 18 Months
Age Limit: Up to 40 Years

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Computer Science from a recognized institution.

  • Strong background in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Transformer-based architectures.

  • Proven experience in audio signal processing, particularly in:

    • Audio spoof detection

    • Speech anti-spoofing

    • Related research areas

  • Strong programming skills in Python.

  • Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and other modern ML frameworks.

  • Demonstrated research capability with 2–3 peer-reviewed conference or journal publications (published or submitted).

  • Prior experience as a student researcher on projects will be considered an advantage (not mandatory).

2. Edge AI and Embedded ML Engineer

Pay Package: As per project rules
Number of Posts: 01
Duration: 18 Months
Age Limit: Up to 40 Years

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer / Software Engineering or Computer Science from a recognized institution.

  • Proven experience in developing and optimizing ML/DL models for edge and embedded devices, such as:

    • Raspberry Pi

    • NVIDIA Jetson Nano / Xavier / Orin

    • ARM-based boards

  • Hands-on experience with edge computing platforms for real-time AI applications, especially:

    • NVIDIA Jetson family

    • Raspberry Pi

  • Familiarity with TinyML, ONNX, TensorRT, or other edge-focused deployment and optimization frameworks.

  • Prior involvement as a student researcher in funded research projects will be considered a strong advantage (not mandatory).
