Vacancy for Non-Teaching Post

The University of Education, Lahore (UE Lahore), established in 2002, is a large multi-campus, multi-city, and multi-discipline university in Pakistan. The University invites applications from qualified and dynamic professionals for the following position:

Position:

Registrar (BS-20) – On Three Years Contract

Number of Seats & Location:

• 1 seat at Head Office, Lahore

Qualification & Experience:

Candidates must fulfill one of the following qualification and experience criteria:

1. PhD in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute or university, with 8 years post-qualification teaching, administrative, or professional experience in a public or private institute/university recognized by HEC or a public sector organization.

OR

2. MS or MPhil (Second Division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute or university, with 10 years post-qualification teaching, administrative, or professional experience in a public or private institute/university recognized by HEC or a public sector organization.

OR

3. Master's Degree or BS (Second Division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute or university, with 12 years post-qualification teaching, administrative, or professional experience in a public or private institute/university recognized by HEC or a public sector organization.

Age Limit: 40–50 years

How to Apply:

1. Candidates must apply online via the university job portal: web.we.edu.pk/jobs/.

2. A signed hardcopy/printout of the pre-filled online application must also be submitted to:

   • Registrar Office, University of Education, College Road Township Campus, Lahore

3. Candidates must print the system-generated fee challan and deposit the application processing fee of Rs. 4000/- at any branch of Bank of Punjab.

4. Attested copies of the following documents must be submitted along with the deposited fee challan:

   • CNIC

   • Domicile

   • All educational documents/certificates

   • Experience certificates

   • Any other relevant documents

5. Closing date for submission of online applications: 23 February 2026 (within office hours). Printed online application and attached documents must be submitted in person or via courier on the same date. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.

General Information:

1. Relaxation in upper age limit may be granted to suitable candidates as per statutes/rules.

2. For non-teaching positions BS-18 and above, only experience acquired in BS-17 or higher will be considered (as per Punjab Higher Education Department clarification No. SO(Univ.III)Misc-1/2021 dated 12-09-2022).

3. Only degrees from HEC-recognized universities will be considered.

4. Candidates with foreign degrees must provide HEC equivalence certificate(s).

5. Candidates currently working in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel. Online applications without NOC or advance copy will not be entertained.

6. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview. No TA/DA will be provided.

7. The University is not responsible for delays in receiving call letters due to courier/post/phone issues.

8. Prescribed experience includes equivalent professional experience gained after acquiring the minimum required qualification.

9. The University reserves the right to conduct tests or screenings for shortlisting candidates.

10. Appointment will be made from among candidates domiciled in Punjab.
