THE UNIVERSITY OF AZAD JAMMU & KASHMIR (UAJK)

Muzaffarabad

SITUATIONS VACANT

The University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK), a public sector university, invites applications on open merit for appointment against the following administrative positions on a contract basis for a period of three (03) years:


1. REGISTRAR (BPS–20)

Eligibility Criteria

a. Qualification & Experience

  • PhD with 15 years of relevant experience, OR

  • First Class or at least B-Grade Master’s degree / LLB / Management / MA / MSc or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university/institution, with 17 years of experience in BPS-17 and above in teaching, administration, planning, or management.

b. Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in modern office practices and procedures

  • Strong command of computer applications

  • Ability to communicate effectively with faculty, students, and external organizations

c. Age Limit

  • 40 to 45 years

  • (Age limit shall not apply to in-service Government employees)


2. CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATIONS (BPS–20)

Eligibility Criteria

a. Qualification & Experience

  • PhD with 15 years of experience in BPS-17 and above
    (Preferably in a university or degree-awarding institution), OR

  • First Class or at least B-Grade Master’s degree / LLB or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university/institution, with 17 years of experience in BPS-17 and above, preferably in a university or degree-awarding institution, in teaching, administration, finance, planning, or management.

b. Skills & Competencies

  • Well-versed in modern office techniques

  • Proficient in computer usage

  • Effective communication skills with academic and administrative stakeholders

c. Age Limit

  • 40 to 45 years

  • (Age limit shall not apply to in-service Government employees)


3. DIRECTOR FINANCE & PLANNING (BPS–20)

Eligibility Criteria

a. Qualification

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), OR

  • At least Second Class Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or M.Com

b. Experience

  • Minimum 17 years of teaching and/or administrative experience in the relevant field

  • Experience must be in Government or Semi-Government organizations in BPS-17 and above

c. Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in computer applications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Government financial rules and regulations

d. Age Limit

  • 40 to 45 years

  • (Age limit shall not apply to in-service Government employees)

Documents Required

The duly completed application form must be accompanied by:

  1. Attested copies of all academic degrees and certificates, along with HEC equivalence and/or verification, where applicable

  2. Attested copy of CNIC and three (03) recent passport-size photographs

  3. Pay Order / Bank Draft in favor of “Director Finance & Planning, UAJK” amounting to PKR 6,000/- (per application)

  4. Marks Percentage Certificate in case degrees are awarded under the semester system
