A candidate should be well versed in handling policy making, legal, administrative and statutory affairs related to degree awarding institutions/ universities.
Minimum Fourteen (14) years or Twelve (12) years post qualification experience in academics & Establishment/ Administrative matters for degree holders with sixteen (16) years or eighteen (18) years of education respectively which must include five years of experience in equivalent position/post.
Additional Attributes
a. Minimum Bachelor's or equivalent degree (sixteen years of education) in Engineering with first division (a minimum CGPA of 2.50/4.00 in case of semester system of examination or a minimum aggregate percentage of Systein case of annual system of examination) from HEC recognized University

b. No third division (CGPA less than 2.00/4.00 in case of semester system of examination or aggregate percentage less than 50% in case of annual system of examination) in entire academic career.
