Situations Vacant – Non-Teaching Positions

The Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro University of Art, Design & Heritages (SABS University) invites applications from eligible candidates having Sindh domicile for the following non-teaching positions. Candidates must submit a paid challan of Rs. 5,000/- (non-refundable) in favor of the Director Finance, SABS University, Jamshoro.

01 Registrar (BPS-20) – Tenure Post 01 55 years Master’s degree (18 years of education), preferably in first class, or equivalent qualifications. Minimum 17 years administrative experience in posts equivalent to BPS-17 or above at the university level. Candidate should be conversant with university rules and regulations.
02 Director ORIC (BPS-20) 01 55 years Ph.D. from an HEC-recognized university/institution with at least 17 years relevant experience in a university or educational institution.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Appointment:

    • All positions are on a purely contractual/tenure-track basis for 3 years.

  2. Domicile Requirement:

    • All candidates must hold Sindh province domicile.

  3. Government Employees:

    • Candidates serving in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel, accompanied by a No Objection Certificate (NOC). They are responsible for being relieved from their parent department.

  4. Educational Documents:

    • Degrees/certificates must be HEC attested.

    • Equivalence certificate for 18 years of education must be submitted.

  5. Multiple Applications:

    • Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application forms, separate challans, and separate supporting documents for each post.

  6. Incomplete Applications:

    • Applications without attested copies of educational, professional, or experience certificates, or without the paid challan, will not be considered.

  7. Deadline:

    • Applications must reach the university by Friday, 30th January 2026.

    • Late applications, or applications submitted by hand or in person, will not be accepted.

  8. University Rights:

    • The university reserves the right to increase, decrease, or withdraw any position without assigning any reason.

  9. Selection Process:

    • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for written test/interview.

    • No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview/test.
