Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) is a solid waste management company based in Rawalpindi city. It was established in 2013. RWMC started to provide its services in five cities of Rawalpindi district during 2013. It is not for profit organization working with the city government in removal of solid waste under the section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984. RWMC is providing services for solid waste management services in 96 union councils of the city which include: Placement of waste containers, Manual Mechanical sweeping, Mechanical washing, Waste collection, Waste transportation, Waste disposal, Desilting of tertiary drains, Resolution of complaints received through RWMC helpline (1139) and Plot clearance.

RWMC’s solid waste management services at 24 Metro Bus Stations include: Mechanical washing of the Metro Bus track and Cleaning of Platform, Pedestrian Bridge, Stairs & escalators, Auxiliary areas, Washrooms and also complaints from the public are also being received on tool free number 1139 and the grievances are also being re-dressed on the same day or the next day. RWMC’s operation wings are consisted of: Vehicle Tracking and Monitoring system, Vehicle Trip counting System, Android Based Monitoring System and a toll free Helpline service for public assistance.
