INSTRUCTIONS:

Eligibility: Only Sindh domiciled candidates are eligible to apply.

Application Form:

The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the University Website or obtained from the Registrar's Office, The Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur.

Application Documents:

Candidates applying for Professor and Associate Professor posts must submit four copies of the CV, research publications, and other relevant documents.

Equivalence of Degrees:

Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalence certificate from the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

For In-Service Candidates:

Candidates already employed in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel, with an NOC from their current employer.

Calculation of Age/Experience/Qualifications:

Age, qualifications, and experience will be considered as of the closing date for submission of the application.

Multiple Applications:

Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate application forms along with the requisite fee, documents, and bank drafts/pay orders.

Incomplete Applications:

Applications lacking educational, professional, or experience certificates or processing fees will not be entertained. Late submissions will also not be considered.

Envelope:

The envelope should clearly mention the post applied for.

University's Rights:

The University reserves the right to cancel any advertised posts, either partially or fully. The number of vacancies may also be increased or decreased as needed.

Test/Interview:

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.

Contract Terms:

Contract positions will initially be for two years, as per the university’s policy.

No TADA:

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

Pension Policy:

The Contributory Pension Scheme will apply as per SHEC Notification no AD (Finance) SHEC2040004 dated 27th June 2004, subject to approval by statutory bodies.

Application Fee:

A non-refundable fee of Rs. 5000/- (in the form of a Pay Order or Demand Draft) should be submitted along with the application.

Deadline:

The complete application, along with required documents, must reach the office of the Registrar within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Professor (BPS-21):

Qualification:

PhD in a relevant field from an HEC recognized university/institution.

Experience:

15 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized university or a post-graduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a national/international organization.

OR 10 years of post-PhD teaching/research experience.

Publications:

Minimum 15 research publications, with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized journals.

Associate Professor (BPS-20):

Qualification:

PhD in the relevant field from an HEC recognized university/institution.

Experience:

10 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized university or a post-graduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a national/international organization.

OR 5 years of post-PhD teaching/research experience.

Publications:

Minimum 10 research publications, with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized journals.

Assistant Professor (BPS-19):

Qualification:

PhD in the relevant field from an HEC recognized university/institution.

Experience:

No prior experience required.

Director Works and Service (BPS-20):

Qualification:

PhD in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications from an HEC/PEC recognized university.

Experience:

13 years of relevant experience in BPS-17 and above or equivalent in Government/Government Autonomous Organizations, Universities, or reputable firms.

OR

15 years of experience with ME/MS in Civil Engineering.

Chief Accountant (BPS-19):

Qualification:

CA/ACCA/ICMA/CPA or 16 years of education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Commerce (Majors in Finance).

Experience:

12 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or senior role. Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, ICMA, or CPA is highly desirable.
