(KGMC, IKD, B&PSC, PICO and FHH) PESHAWAR

SITUATION VACANT

Applications are invited under the Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Act 2015, for the following vacancies at MTI-HMC and Affiliate Institutes (HMC, KGMC, IKD, B&PSC, PICO and FHH) Peshawar.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

1. FACULTY POSITION: GENERAL MEDICINE

(On locum basis, for 01 year initially)

Sub-Specialties:

• I. General Medicine

• II. Thoracic Surgery

• III. Cardiac Anesthesia

• IV. ENT

Note:

1. Upon selection, the candidate will receive a faculty position at the appropriate level (Assistant, Associate, or full Professor).

2. The selected candidates will be offered grade/scale as per IPS MTI-HMC & Affiliate Institutes (HMC, KGMC, IKD, B&PSC, PICO and FHH).

2. FACULTY POSITION: ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OPTOMETRY (PICO)

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Application Submission:
   Application on prescribed form duly filled in all respects along with bio-data and attested Academic/Experience record must reach the Human Resource Department, Khyber Girls Medical College, PDA Building Block-IV, Phase-V Hayatabad, Peshawar, within two (02) weeks of the latest publication of this advertisement in the newspaper.

2. Allocation/Placement:
   The employees will be allocated/placed at the appropriate level as per the institutional pay scale (IPS) of MTI-HMC and Affiliate Institutes (KGMC, HMC, IKD, PICO, B&PSC and FHH).

3. Application Form:
   Application form can be downloaded from the college website: www.kgmc.edu.pk

4. Processing Fee:
   The processing fee of Rs. 3,000 (Non-refundable) should be deposited with the cashier (Account Section) in KGMC, Peshawar OR it can be submitted online in the account of KGMC titled "Salary Account of KGMC Employees", Account No. 3005642387, Bank of Khyber (BOK) through deposit slip and attached original slip with the application form.

5. Governing Law:
   The services will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical & Teaching Institutions Reform (MTI) Act, 2015.

6. Incomplete Applications:
   Applicants having incomplete documents will not be entertained.

7. Probation Period:
   Selected candidates will serve MTI-HMC and Affiliate Institutes (KGMC, IKD, B&PSC, PICO and FHH) Peshawar under probation period specified.

8. Shortlisting:
   Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview.

9. Shortlisting Criteria:
   Candidates may be shortlisted either on the basis of their pre-interview marks or based on an Entry Test if the number of candidates is very high.

10. Entry Test Weightage:
    In case of Entry Test taken for shortlisting the candidates, its marks will have no weightage in the total aggregate marks.

11. Deadline:
    Applications must reach this office on or before the last date during office hours as outlined in Para-1. If the closing date fixed for the receipt of application form falls on an official holiday, the next working day shall be considered as the closing date. An application after the closing time and date shall stand rejected.

12. Scrutiny Committee:
    The Scrutiny Committee of KGMC shall be competent to reject applications which are incomplete. However, the aggrieved candidates can appeal to the Competent Authority (Dean MTI HMC and affiliate institute) of KGMC for review. The decision of the Competent Authority thereof shall be final.

13. Disqualification:
    Any candidate may be disqualified and/or excluded from interview if he/she:

    • (a) Convicted by the court of law.

    • (b) Had previous history of dismissal from public service.

    • (c) Knowingly furnishes any false information.

    • (d) Suppresses any information which may lead to his/her disqualification.

    • (e) Attempts to obtain support for his/her candidature by improper means.

    • (f) Submits forged certificates.

    • (g) Tempers with the entries in his/her age and academic certificates.

    • (h) Misbehaves during the interview.

14. Influence/Approach:
    Any attempt to approach or influence the selection committee will automatically disqualify the applicant; the decision of the selection committee will be final, subject to approval by the Board of Governors.

15. No Further Correspondence:
    After a final decision, no correspondence regarding the process will be entertained.

16. NOC Requirement:

    • Applicant working in the Private Institution should get prior approval/NOC from the HR Department of their respective institution.

    • Govt servants should apply through proper channel and should obtain NOC from their respective Departments/Institutions.

17. Resignation from Civil Service:
    In case of selection, the civil servant will have to resign from civil service.

18. Original Documents:
    Original documents shall be produced at the time of interview.

19. TA/DA:
    No TA/DA is admissible.
