Career Opportunities (Teaching Positions)

The University of Mirpurkhas invites applications from eligible candidates on the prescribed form for the following contractual teaching positions.

• Processing Fee: Rs. 4,000/- (Non-Refundable) via Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn in favor of The University of Mirpurkhas.

### Available Positions & Eligibility Criteria

01. Professor (BPS-21) — Business Administration

• No. of Positions: 01

• Maximum Age Limit: 50 Years (Relaxable in exceptional cases as per Government rules)

• Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University / Institution.

• Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university or post-graduate institution, OR professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

  • OR Minimum 10 years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized university or post-graduate institution, OR professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

• Research Publications: Must have at least 15 research publications, with a minimum of 5 publications appearing within the last 5 years in HEC-recognized journals.

02. Associate Professor (BPS-20) — Business Administration

• No. of Positions: 01

• Maximum Age Limit: 45 Years (Relaxable in exceptional cases as per Government rules)

• Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University / Institution.

• Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university or post-graduate institution, OR professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

  • OR Minimum 5 years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university or post-graduate institution, OR professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

• Research Publications: Must have at least 10 research publications, with a minimum of 4 publications appearing within the last 5 years in HEC-recognized journals.

• Binding Requirements: Candidates applying for Professor and Associate Professor positions must submit four (04) complete copies of their CV/Bio-data along with their required Research Papers and other documents in hard binding format.

• Mailing Instructions: The outer application envelope must be clearly marked with the name of the post applied for.

• Reference & NOC:

  • Applicants must submit a reference letter from their previous or current employer.

  • Candidates serving in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel with an attached NOC and are solely responsible for getting properly relieved from their parent departments.

• Domicile Restriction: Applicants must hold a valid Sindh Province Domicile.

• Academic Record: Candidates must not have a third division in their entire academic career.

• Multiple Positions: Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application forms, separate processing fees (bank drafts), and distinct documentation sets for each position.

• Foreign Degrees: Foreign degree holders are strictly required to attach an equivalence certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan.

• These positions are being filled strictly on a contract basis.

• Qualifications, experience, and age limits will be calculated and examined as of the closing date of application submission (03 July 2026).

• Incomplete applications (missing degrees, experience certificates, or the processing fee) or those received after the official closing date will not be entertained.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests or interviews.

• No TA/DA will be provided to candidates coming for interviews or written tests.

• The University administration reserves the right to cancel the advertised posts partially or as a whole without giving any reason.
