SHEIKH ZAYED MEDICAL COLLEGE/HOSPITAL – RECRUITMENT NOTICE

Purpose:
Applications are invited for appointment against newly created posts of BS-18 and above at the Newly Established Cardiac Center (Cardiology Unit – Gifted by UAE Government) at SZMC/SZH, Rahim Yar Khan. Appointments are on adhoc basis for one year or until arrival of regular incumbents.

Eligible candidates must meet the qualifications and experience requirements as per Recruitment Policy 2022 and existing service rules.

Vacancies & Eligibility

Professor of Cardiology 1 Min 33 – Max 50 MBBS or equivalent + FCPS/MS/FRCS/MRCP/MD/Diplomat of American Board in Cardiology or equivalent. Teaching experience: =5 years as Assistant/Associate Professor with =5 research publications. R 80,000/month
Associate Professor of Cardiology - Min 30 – Max 50 MBBS or equivalent + FCPS/MS/FRCS/MRCP/MD/Diplomat of American Board in Cardiology or equivalent. Postgraduate practical experience: 3–5 years. R 65,000/month
Assistant Professor of Cardiology - Min 30 – Max 50 MBBS or equivalent + FCPS/MS/FRCS/MRCP/MD/Diplomat of American Board in Cardiology or equivalent. Postgraduate practical experience: =3 years with at least 3 research papers published. R 65,000/month
Senior Cardiology Registrar - 25–45 MBBS or equivalent + FCPS/MS/FRCS/MRCP/MD/Diplomat of American Board (General Surgery/Medicine if specialty not available) with 3 years post-graduation practical experience. R 40,000/month

Notes:

  • Age limits are as per Notification No. SO R-S&GAD/1-4/2005/P dated 02-07-2021.

  • If posts are vacant, candidates with general surgery or medicine qualifications may be considered.

Terms & Conditions

  2. Quota Applications: Candidates applying under any reserved quota must submit a separate application with supporting documents.

  3. Selection Process: Selection by Special Selection Board strictly on merit per Recruitment Policy 2022.

  4. Documents Required (2 sets attested):

    • Matriculation certificate (with DOB)

    • Intermediate certificate / equivalent qualification

    • MBBS degree & detailed marks

    • Postgraduate qualification

    • Domicile certificate

    • CNIC

    • Hafez-e-Quran, Ex-Service Man certificate, Disability certificate (if applicable)

    • Passport-size photographs (2)

    • Foreign qualifications must be recognized by PMDC/PMC

    • Valid PMC registration certificate

    • Research publications (2 sets) in recognized medical journals

  5. Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be entertained.

  6. Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called. No TA/DA is admissible. Original certificates must be produced.

  7. Eligibility: Male, female, and transgender candidates domiciled in Punjab can apply.

  8. Government Employees: Must apply through proper channel with NOC from the competent authority. Advanced copy can be submitted.

  9. Women are encouraged to apply.

  10. Vacancies: Number of posts may increase or decrease.

  11. Age Relaxation: As per Government of Punjab policy.
