Job Opportunity: Professor (Contract-Based Position)

An Islamabad-based academic institute invites applications for a contractual position of Professor in the field of Intelligence & Security Studies / Security Studies / Strategic Studies / Peace & Conflict Studies / International Relations.

Educational Qualification

  • PhD in one of the following disciplines from an HEC-recognized or internationally accredited university:

    • Intelligence & Security Studies

    • Security Studies

    • Strategic Studies

    • Peace & Conflict Studies

    • International Relations

Experience Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Option 1:

    • 15 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university or postgraduate institution

    • OR relevant professional experience in a national or international organization

  • Option 2:

    • 10 years of post-PhD teaching/research experience in a recognized university or postgraduate institution

    • OR relevant professional experience in a national or international organization

Research Publication Requirement

  • A minimum of 15 research publications in HEC-recognized journals

  • At least 5 of these publications must be within the last 5 years

Additional Information

  1. The position is based in Islamabad.

  2. Pay and allowances will be determined based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
