Career Opportunity: Principal at Indus College of Public Health & Family Medicine

The Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) is seeking a visionary academic leader for its Korangi Campus in Karachi. The role is designed to establish the college as a premier center for public health education, research, and policy impact.

1. Key Responsibilities

  • Academic Leadership: Lead the design and continuous improvement of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Public Health and Family Medicine.

  • Policy & Reform: Actively contribute to national health policy, health systems strengthening, and public health reform initiatives.

  • Research Advocacy: Foster a robust research culture specializing in epidemiology, health systems, and public health.

  • Global Collaboration: Build and maintain international partnerships for advanced research and educational exchange.

  • Administration & Governance: Oversee faculty recruitment, performance management, budgeting, and resource allocation.

  • Compliance: Ensure all programs strictly adhere to standards set by regulatory authorities and accreditation bodies.

2. Qualification & Experience

  • Education: MBBS followed by a PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Services Management, or a related field.

  • Total Experience: 12–15 years of professional experience in the Public Health sector.

  • Leadership Experience: At least 5–10 years served in a senior academic or leadership capacity.
